First, he make sure the PS3 is off
Then he turn the back switch off
Then he hold the eject and switch the back button on.
Fan goes wild, then stop, and red blinking light (so PS3 is still off technically, since there's not green light)
Turn back switch off, then back on.
So he never really turn the back switch off with the light green on, on the PS3.
I almost wish they could implement this, firmware wise, in the 60gig model!!!
So basically, there's now 3 level of fan noise for the PS3.
1- Can't hear it.
2- You're playing too hard, you can hear it now.
3- Jet engine plane ready to take off.
Seriously, this is another proof that Sony is not cutting corners when they design something... They put in a mega fan, and use it only at 30% of it's top speed. Very, very cool, no punt intended!

Wow, based on your theory, there would be only about 4 news per day on N4G!!!!
When you get the bluray, you get the exact same file you would download otherwise. So you save the download, and you get a bonus (making of). So you're saving on the download time, and if you have a limit on your number of GB from your provider.
Sure, you have to have the Bluray inside, like Warhawk, because you would simply lend your disk to all your friends who would install it for free. But it's still the same install as the downloadable one.
It would means that you could only install 17142 games like GTAIV on your PS3... Dang, I should buy a 500 gig hard drive tomorrow, just in case! : )

I love the game. But what's amazing is the fact that I NEVER looked at the tutorial or the booklet that came with it. I'm ranked about 175 in the world right now. I won about 66% of my games. And guess what, I never written a review like this guy did. So if this guy can make an article that get posted in N4G, and I can play a game he is complaining about, without watching the tutorial or reading the book, that must make me a super genius.... First, a Microsoft web site that is saying that the physical media for game console is not about to go away!! Yet they used a smaller media (dvd) for their console. So if physical media is not going away anytime soon, and if it becomes too small for the latest games, does that mean their console could get obsolete faster? I'm sure they would count on downloadable content to help over come this problem, buy hey, it's Microsoft themselve saying that.

I don't believe in pre-ordering at all. So what if I cannot get one on day one. Worst case, I'll have to wait a little. I owned pretty much every consoles made so far. But Motorstorm 2? Yep, first time I'm thinking pre-ordering!
If they ever publish a disk, it will be only the disk with no cards, and this disk will simply be the latest version of Eye of Judgment, with all the patches for the original game, and the two expansions...

Ipod would be dead if they would have stuck with the original model. And people are not as stupid as you think. They read before they buy anything expensive. They can make the diffence.
